Hooray!

I've decided to purchase a year membership / support newgrounds finally. I mainly did it so I could change my username to my actual music alias, but I also figure I'm using Newgrounds very consistently to put out my work and here is where it gets the most attention, so I might as well support the site. Again, I've finally changed my username so "mrfaller" is no more!

For those of you wondering where the name "mrfaller" came from, it was actually something I made up when I was still elemtary school. The song "Ballin" by Jim Jones was super hyped about at the time and I honestly thought it was lame as heck just like me, so I would make fun of it by saying I'm "Fallin" and used "mrfaller" as the user for my youtube channel. I pretty much just carried it over to all other platforms from there until the song died out.

I know, I was a lame kid. I'm still lame, just not really a kid anymore.

Hope everyone is enjoying the new release.

I've recently decided I want to start using my youtube channel more consistently to upload my own music. I've been trying to come up with a nice video layout to upload all my music to there. I may be cleaning up my channel and deleting old videos and music so I can use it soley for my SVMMIT alias, but I'm not sure if I'm going to go back and start creating videos for all my music under this alias. It may just be for future releases, but who knows.

As for upcoming music, I have plenty of ideas and actually have a couple of songs already ready to be released. I don't want to set any release dates just yet, but I should have something new out pretty soon. again, I just need to get this video layout figured out how I want it

I am alive.

I want to firstly say that right now as I'm typing out this update, my mind is kind of all over the place and none of my thoughts are really too cohesive and I'm sorry if that makes this seem like kind of a mess. I just really wanted to push out an update because I've been inactive for quite a bit and I want to let people know I'm still here and still working on music diligently.

1. The Vaporwave \ \ Synthwave \ \ Lo-Fi Hip-Hop EP that I promised, has been trashed.

Q: WHY THO

A: I felt like no one was going to care about it. I hardly cared about the music after I was done creating it. It felt empty. a lack of feel to it. and if I can't feel my own art, who the fuck will?

2. I recently started some new original music, right now it's only one song but maybe it will branch off into something bigger? we'll see. I think it's a step forward and it feels like I havent taken one of those in a while. It's felt as if a lot of my music has sounded almost exactly the same for the past handful of months and this track actually feels refreshing and I can't wait to share it with you all.

3. I am truly sorry for the recent inactivity. Family issues and a personal loss that hit me extremely hard emotionally has had me down for a while now and I've been trying to get a grip of myself again, but I'm overall okay and almost ready to give you all something new again.

again, I am so sorry if this is just a total mess and doesn't really make any sense. I'm trying.

NEW MUSIC THIS WEEKEND - IT'S ANOTHER REMIX

well, technically it's a bootleg cause I don't have any rights to remix it... buuuut, whatever.

So yeah, I've finished up a remix of this old track that really meant a lot to me when it first came out 

I'm actually really excited to release this one as skrillex is one of my biggest inspirations (being the reason why I started making music in the first place). As for the remix right now, it's 100% done and if anything I'll just end up making a few small touch ups to it here and there, but it's back to future bass.

Oh and BTW, I dont know if I said this yet, but this year I want to do like a 100 x more remixes than I did last year.

EDIT: also, I KNOW Deadmau5 is hosting a remix contest for his track with Grabbitz titled "Let Go" I MIGHT do a remix, but I'm not sure. I have the stems downloaded I just dont know if I actually wanna do it. and if you havent heard of the remix contest, the stems are on splice which is really convenient.

Okay well I need to admit something to everyone that may just make everyone unfollow all my pages and report me to the cyber police.

I, svmmit, genuinely and deeply enjoy vaporwave/synthwave music.

There it is, I said it. I've spent the past week or so trying to create some of my own synthwave music with inspirations such as HOME, Saint Pepsi/Skylar Spence, Moe Shop and Glue 70. I'm not sure if I'll actually release any of these tracks once theyre done or if I'll really even finish them, but its just a heads up for when I announce new music dropping soon. I can't really explain why the genre has grown on me so much, but I can say that I already really liked electro swing prior to it. something about old music being sampled and mixed in with an electronic sound just really gets to me.

guys i literally do not give a shit, i know 90% of the stuff i make isnt dubstep yet it's labeled as "electronic - dubstep" stop telling me that. newgrounds doesnt have many genres to choose from.

but anyways, hope u enjoy the new remix.

I honestly couldn't think of anything to title the new track I just put out a few minutes ago. I hope you all enjoy it even though there are no drums and it's kind of short. I'm really looking forward to creating music in 2017, it feels like it's gonna be a great year for me and I'm just excited to see what the future holds.

P.S I'm buying my first analogue synth this year ! fuck yass !

I launched SVMMIT a year ago now with the release of the 8 track EP "Digital Sunset". At the time I felt really amazing about my music and my life in general. Now looking back at the short time since I've started this project, it seems like it was so much longer than a single year. I've lost friends and made new friends, seen and tried new things, and even though overall I felt like I mostly made wrong desicions, I'm still greatful for where it's left me. I feel like I've learned a lot from everything that's happened and found out who and what is actually important to me.

So although I'm done releasing music for the year of 2016, I promise you all that 2017 will be truly special. I have a lot planned for it, and I cannot wait to act upon those plans to make them a reality. I want to deeply thank everyone, both friends, family, and fans alike, who has support this project over the past year since it's initiation. Even if you've just stumbled across my music accidently and didn't really enjoy it, I still thank you for at least listening and giving it a chance.

Here's to another year of SVMMIT,

Sooo, I've been debating for like a month now on whether or not I should put out a single from this next EP I've been working on aaannndd, I think I'm gonna drop one this saturday, so, look out for that.
